Super Saturday Wood Pumpkin

Here is a great new Super Saturday craft project.  Soooo cute for your home and so much fun to make.  We provide the wood and vinyl, you paint and decorate!

 

Kit comes with boards, stem, and vinyl.  We first glued the boards together with wood glue.  We then painted using craft paint (we used orange and brown and lightly mixed them then painted on a thin layer so that the grain of the wood would show through).  When the paint dried, we applied the vinyl in the corner, glued on the stem with wood glue, and decorated with twine and wire (curled for a fun effect).

Autumn Blocks

These are great season blocks. I will post the winter, spring and summer blocks soon.

Directions: Cut a 2x4 board into 2 1/2 inch blocks. If you want the pumpkin pattern please email me, and I will send it to you. You will need a 2x6 board for the pumpkin. Paint the blocks and sand the edges. Apply the vinyl letters. Put a piece of material around the pumpkin for an added touch.
