My Daughter's Quilt

I LOVE quilting. I have not quilted in 8 years.  That is how old my oldest child is.  So when the kids came, the quilting went bye bye.  Laundry, dishes, diapers took its place.  My fabulous mom took my kids for 2 weeks this summer and the whole time they were gone I quilted.  It was like I was doing something for me again, even though the quilt was for my child.  I saw this amazing quilt on Piece n Quilt.  The link is here http://piecenquilt.blogspot.com/2010/04/vernas-quilt-tutorial.html I knew I had to make it. It was  really simple to make and I learned how to applique.
This is the quilt I made for my 3 year old daughter.  It was quilted by my cousin at Quilts-n-More.He did an awesome job and he was really quick.  They also did my binding which I hate doing.  They are in Texas so I mailed it to them and they mailed it back.  I gave it to my little girl for Christmas.  If you like their quilting you can contact them at quilts-n-more@clearwire.net.
